PTV Logistics at Leaders in Logistics

Attending events like the Leaders in Logistics Summit isn’t just a checkbox on our calendars; it’s an opportunity to connect, collaborate, and stay ahead of the curve. This year’s summit in Barcelona was particularly impactful, filled with insightful discussions, engaging presentations, and exciting announcements that underscored the transformative nature of our industry.

One of the most rewarding aspects of attending the Leaders in Logistics Summit was the chance to engage with our customers, partners and prospects face-to-face. In an increasingly digital world, there’s immense value in these personal interactions. We had the opportunity to listen to customer feedback, understand their pain points, and discuss how we can better serve their needs. These conversations reaffirmed our commitment to delivering solutions that drive efficiency, reliability and sustainability.

Steven De Schrijver, our CEO, shared the stage with one of our great customers, John Ruijsch of DynaLogic, where the focus of the discussion was on Innovation in Motion.”  They discussed DynaLogic’s philosophy of “turning customers into fans” and some of the biggest challenges in logistics, especially when technology such as AI is changing the face of logistics going forward. PTV Logistics and Dynalogic have discovered a powerful synergy by challenging the existing status quo as the foundation for continuous improvement, rather than merely relying on words alone, but actively pursuing for also less evident breakthroughs.

How will you keep up?

I was honored to share the main stage with Thierry Golliard with Swiss Post, Christian Ostergaard with PostNord, and Michael Andrae with Osterreichische Post. We discussed the latest innovations shaping the transportation and logistics landscape. But for me, an important question I wanted the audience to take away and think about is “How will you keep up?” In the face of rapid-pace innovation, AI, regulations and thousands of new locations that customers are delivering to, we not only need to keep up with the pace of innovation, but we also must plan for the future.
